UX/UI design for websites and applications

Introduction

A beautiful design that doesn't work doesn't work. We design interfaces that are intuitive for your target audience. Whether that is an HR employee looking for a CLA document, a farmer checking his certification or a student taking a drumming class.

We do not design from aesthetics alone, but from use. Who are your users, how do they think, what do they expect? The answer to those questions determines every design decision.

UX and UI: what's the difference?

UX stands for User Experience: the overall experience a user has with your website or application. How logical is the navigation? Does the user find what they are looking for quickly? Does it feel familiar?

UI stands for User Interface: the visual design of the interface. Colours, typography, icons, buttons, layout.

We always do UX. We often do the visual design ourselves, but sometimes we collaborate with external designers or agencies that provide the visual design. We then translate that design into a working, built interface.

What we do

UX analysis and strategy We analyse your target audience, your processes and your users' expectations. On this basis, we determine the optimal structure and navigation of your website or application.

Wireframes and prototypes We create wireframes that define the structure and functionality before we start designing or building. This way, we can be sure that the basics are correct.

Visual design We design interfaces that match your house style, your target group and your brand. From simple corporate websites to complex applications with multiple user roles.

Design-to-code We translate designs from external designers or agencies into working, built interfaces. With an eye for detail so that the built result matches the design.

UX audit We assess existing websites and applications for user-friendliness and give concrete recommendations for improvement. A fresh look from the outside often provides valuable insights.

Accessibility We build interfaces that comply with digital accessibility guidelines. So that your digital product is usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

Design and development under one roof

At PixelDeluxe, design and development are under one roof. That is a big advantage. Designers and developers work closely together, so that the built result always matches the design. Designers are also aware of technical preconditions. No translation problems, no surprises at delivery.

We start with your target audience. Who are your users, how do they think, what do they expect? Based on that, we create wireframes that we discuss before designing. You give feedback at each step.

Yes. We perform UX audits on existing websites and applications. We analyse the user experience and provide concrete recommendations for improvement.

Full participation. We involve you in every step from wireframes to final design. We work with clear feedback moments so that changes are processed in a structured way and the project stays on track.

Yes. We regularly work with designs from external designers and agencies. We request designs in Figma, worked out in three variants: mobile, tablet and desktop. For each variant, we take into account the interaction capabilities of the device; mobile and tablet do not have hover states but only click interactions. With that basis, we build a pixel-perfect, working interface that matches the design on each device.
